WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY ALL-NATURAL?

Jungleman All-Natural Deodorant is truly all-natural because it DOES NOT CONTAIN: aluminum, parabens, peroxides, alcohols, artificial colors, artificial fragrances, propylene glycol, glyceryl laurate, ascorbic acid, silica, castor oil, sodium stearate or any other junk that shouldn’t be under your pits.

In addition to being hypoallergenic, Jungleman All-Natural Deodorant is also non-comedogenic, and therefore will not block your pores like many aluminum antiperspirants do.

WHAT IS JUNGLEMAN All-NATURAL DEODORANT MADE OF?

Jungleman All-Natural Deodorant is made of sodium bicarbonate, corn starch, sustainable palm oil from non-peatlands, and tea tree oil. That's it!

HOW MUCH DOES JUNGLEMAN All-NATURAL DEODORANT COST?

We here at Jungleman Naturals don’t believe in paying a lot for good stuff. Some “all-natural” deodorants charge up to $20.00 for a questionable product at best. Jungleman All-Natural Deodorant will only set you back about 8 bucks, and actually works, so there’s no need to let the economy make you stink.

WHAT ARE THE DANGERS OF ALUMINUM AND OTHER CHEMICALS FOUND IN STANDARD DEODORANTS?

Numerous studies have suggested a link between aluminum absorption and Alzheimer's, Lou Gehrig's, and Parkinson's diseases. Studies have also suggested links between aluminum and several types of cancer, osteoporosis, anemia, headaches, kidney problems, liver problems, gastrointestinal problems, extreme nervousness, bone softening, decreased calcium absorption, muscle aches, and even colic and rickets in babies.

Many deodorants contain propylene glycol, which, unbeknownst to most consumers, is commonly used in automobile anti-freeze. Alcohols and peroxides found in many so-called “natural” deodorants, whether derived naturally or synthetically, are known irritants to human skin.

Both glyceryl laurate and sodium stearate are known to be reactive to skin, especially in those with allergies to glycerin or stearates and laurates. Studies have also suggested links between parabens and breast cancer.

Jungleman All-Natural Deodorant is 100% aluminum free, in addition to NOT CONTAINING any of the aforementioned chemicals found in other standard and so-called “natural” deodorants, which means you can be worry free and odor free at the same time.

WHAT IS GREENWASHING?

Greenwashing is the use of misleading or deceptive advertising used to form the perception that a company’s products are environmentally friendly or all-natural, when in fact, they are not. Many deodorant manufacturers like to throw around the words “green,” “Earth-friendly,” and “organic,” without any actual substance or positive environmental impact to back the hyperbole up. This is the epitome of greenwashing.

Unlike many other so-called “natural” deodorants, sporting long ingredient lists armed to the teeth with a myriad of un-pronounceable chemicals, Jungleman All-Natural Deodorant contains only four ingredients (sodium bicarbonate, corn starch, sustainable palm oil from non-peatlands, and tea tree oil), all of which are all-natural.

We here at Jungleman Naturals believe that a truly natural company would never sell out to the same multinational chemical corporations that it was originally created as a safer alternative to. Both Tom’s of Maine and Burt’s Bees Wax are owned by Colgate-Palmolive and Clorox respectively, and Terra Naturals has a product partnership with DuPont.

Colgate-Palmolive and Clorox are two of the largest manufacturers of industrial and household chemicals in the world. In addition to Tom’s of Maine, Colgate-Palmolive manufactures Speed Stick, one of the most chemical-laden standard deodorants in the world.

Colgate-Palmolive markets Tom’s of Maine to unwitting customers as a safer alternative to the very deodorant it manufactures (in the form of Speed Stick). It begs the question as to what their true intentions are.

DuPont is a chemical manufacturing corporation that was once the world's largest producer of ozone-depleting chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs), and is currently the world's largest producer of hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs), which contribute to the greenhouse effect and global warming.

Do you really trust these large-scale chemical manufacturers when it comes to the well being of your under arms? Do you truly believe that they have your best interests in mind? Don’t fall for the greenwashing strategies and gimmicks of these chemical manufacturers.

Jungleman Naturals is 100% privately owned, and will never sell out its customers for a chemical manufacturer of any kind. Nor will it ever dismiss its core value of being as safe, natural, and environmentally friendly as possible. Join the revolution against greenwashing, with Jungleman All-Natural Deodorant!

WILL JUNGLEMAN ALL-NATURAL DEODORANT STOP ME FROM SWEATING?

No, it will not. Nor should it. Contrary to the common myth sold by major antiperspirant companies, sweat does not smell whatsoever. The reason why we get foul odors under our arms is due to bacteria that accumulate over time in those regions.

The bacteria eat the proteins in our sweat, and waste is soon excreted. This waste is the direct source for body odor. That’s right. Your sweat doesn’t cause you to stink, rather, millions of little bacteria turds do!

It’s unnecessary and unnatural to stop the human body from secreting sweat. Sweat is necessary to cool down the human body when it’s overheated. It’s also essential in ridding the body of certain toxins. Why would you want to keep those things in your body?

Furthermore, since your body is pretty much covered in over 2.6 million sweat glands, it would seem to be rather foolish (and wasteful) to completely cover your body in antiperspirant.

Jungleman All-Natural Deodorant attacks the real problem, odor. It’s 100% aluminum free and super-absorbent, so that you can secrete sweat naturally, but not have a swamp brewing in your armpits.

Jungleman All-Natural Deodorant’s natural, plant-based ingredients are sterile, preventing the accumulation of bacteria that leave foul body odor, so you can go about your day 100% odor free and 100% all-natural. Jungleman gets the job done right.

IS JUNGLEMAN ALL-NATURAL DEODORANT TESTED ON ANIMALS?

If, by “animals,” you mean non-humans, then no. We do not test our products on anything other than human beings, which, if you’ve ever taken an elementary biology class...are ANIMALS!

Jungleman All-Natural Deodorant DOES NOT CONTAIN any animal products, nor will it ever.

DOES BAKING SODA CONTAIN ALUMINUM?

Baking soda does not contain aluminum in it. Baking soda is simply sodium bicarbonate (NaHCO3). It has been made for centuries by mixing sodium carbonate (Na2CO3), carbon dioxide (CO2), and water (H20). Aluminum, or any of its sulfates, are not used whatsoever to make sodium bicarbonate.

Baking powder, used as a leavening substitute for yeast in cooking, on the other hand, may contain sodium aluminum sulfate and/or sodium aluminum phosphate. Jungleman All-Natural Deodorant contains no baking powder, rather it contains sodium bicarbonate, also known as baking soda.

All food grade and commercial sodium bicarbonate is produced without aluminum. If someone claims to sell a "baking soda," and not a "baking powder" that contains aluminum, they are not truly selling baking soda, as baking soda is simply NaHCO3 and nothing else. They are required to label it as “baking powder” or some other variant.

This is why our ingredient list states: "sodium bicarbonate," instead of baking soda, as there is way too much confusion these days due to liberal usage of the words “baking soda” and “baking powder.”

IS JUNGLEMAN ALL-NATURAL DEODORANT FOR MEN OR WOMEN?

Jungleman All-Natural Deodorant is unisex, meaning that it can be used by both men and women. We here at Jungleman Naturals don’t believe in gender stereotypes, and neither should you. Jungleman All-Natural Deodorant is completely odorless and works equally well for both men and women.

Contrary to what major antiperspirant companies have been telling you, body odor does not discriminate. Men and women alike are equally capable of stinking up a storm. All that “pH balanced for a woman” hocus pocus is just a marketing ploy to charge women more for an inferior product.

The beauty of Jungleman All-Natural Deodorant is that its 100% all-natural scent (or lack thereof, in this case) works great for both sexes, so you won’t have to choose between smelling like men’s aftershave or cheap perfume. Regardless of whether you’re a man or a woman, Jungleman All-Natural Deodorant is 100% “jungle”icious!

ARE JUNGLEMAN ALL-NATURAL DEODORANT CONTAINERS RECYCLABLE?

Jungleman All-Natural Deodorant containers are 100% recyclable. This is just another way that Jungleman Naturals tries to minimize its impact on the environment, in addition to offering a 100% ALL-NATURAL product that contains no aerosols, hydrocarbons, or PFCs.

Jungleman All-Natural Deodorant containers are made of recyclable polypropylene, which corresponds to recycling code 5. Please recycle your Jungleman All-Natural Deodorant containers when you are finished using them. The Earth will thank you and so will we.

WHAT ABOUT THOSE “ALL-NATURAL” DEODORANT CRYSTALS?

So called “all-natural” deodorant crystals make their claim to being “all-natural,” yet possess ammonium alum as a principal ingredient. Ammonium alum, or ammonium aluminum sulfate dodecahydrate, is a sulfate of aluminum, and therefore is an aluminum salt, just like aluminum chlorohydrate, the principal ingredient in antiperspirants.

The deodorant crystal is actually one giant greenwashing scam designed to take advantage of “green” minds with clever marketing tactics. Just like with aluminum chlorohydrate, studies have suggested a link between ammonium alum and several types of cancer, osteoporosis, anemia, headaches, kidney problems, liver problems, gastrointestinal problems, extreme nervousness, bone softening, decreased calcium absorption, muscle aches, and even colic and rickets in babies.

In terms of potential toxicity, aluminum chlorohydrate and ammonium alum are one in the same; as is potassium alum, or any other aluminum salt. Through clever greenwashing propaganda, these crystal manufacturers have marketed their product as being “all-natural” or comprised of 100% natural mineral salts and nothing more.

Arsenic, lead, and mercury are also “all-natural,” but that doesn’t exactly mean that they should be applied liberally to your underarms. All aluminum salts are “natural mineral salts” as they exist naturally in chemistry. Again, that does not necessarily mean that they are healthy.

Yet another piece of propaganda used by these crystal manufacturers is their insistence on claiming that their product is a natural “African” or natural “Thai” crystal. This can also be filed nicely into the realm of fantasy, as these crystals were all manufactured, and even if they weren’t machined the way they were, they’d still be potentially toxic, none the less.

When forced to concede that ammonium alum is indeed a potential toxin that these crystals possess, deodorant crystal manufacturers will rush to claim that although their product does in fact contain potentially toxic aluminum salts, these salts have a chemistry such that the ions in the “natural mineral salts” are too large to pass through the skin.

Or they will claim that the ions are negatively charged, and therefore cannot enter the body. Both of these claims are patently false and have about as much empirical evidence to substantiate them as the tooth fairy. Skin pores, especially in the underarm regions, are millions of times larger than the ions in question, meaning aluminum will get in your body like sand falling through a cargo net.

So don’t let these deodorant crystal manufacturers off the hook for their outright, greenwashed lies. Let them know that we won’t stand for dishonesty when it comes to what goes under our arms. Jungleman All-Natural Deodorant DOES NOT CONTAIN any aluminum of any kind, and will always maintain 100% honesty with its customers.

To apply Jungleman All-Natural Deodorant, simply uncap the deodorant stick and gently twist up as needed. Gently apply Jungleman All-Natural Deodorant to your underarms as needed to control body odor.

We pride ourselves on making the most tolerable, hypoallergenic product on the market, but there will inevitably be a very small percentage of people who will have a reaction to certain ingredients in our formula, as it is virtually impossible to make any product 100% hypoallergenic or non-reactive.

CAN I APPLY JUNGLEMAN ALL-NATURAL DEODORANT DIRECTLY AFTER SHAVING?

While many people apply Jungleman All-Natural Deodorant directly after shaving, we wouldn't recommend putting anything under your arms directly after shaving, including deodorant of any kind.

As your underarm skin is very delicate, even more so after a shave, it's always best to wait for any shaving related irritation to subside prior to applying Jungleman All-Natural Deodorant. This applies to any deodorant that you put under your arms, and not just Jungleman All-Natural Deodorant.
